Fall 2024 School of Industrial Design Career Fair :: Employer Information

The Fall 2024 School of Industrial Design Career Fair provides an opportunity for employers to recruit the best career-minded students. This event not only enhances the fit between employers and students in the Industrial Design programs, but it also serves to open doors to intern placements. You can connect to the following groups of students:

o Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design

o Master of Industrial Design

o Master of Science in Human-Computer Interaction

EVENT DETAILS

We will provide:
- One 6’ long table
- 2 chairs
- 1 table cover
Electrical outlets: NOT available
Display dimensions:
- Length: 6’
- Depth: 3’
- Height: 8’
Drop-off Zone: Located outside the Employer Check-in area
Booth assignments: Will be provided to attending company representatives on the morning of the event

SCHEDULE OF EMPLOYERS

Coffee, snacks, and catered lunches will be served, and water will be provided throughout the day.

Recruiter Check-in & Set-up: 8:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
Fair opens to students: 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Lunch: 12:30 p.m.* (*While there is no official break, lunches will be available)
Fair Ends: 2:00 p.m.
Booth breakdown: 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

NAME TAGS

To make the event more eco-friendly, we will not be providing employer or student name tags. Please feel free to bring your company name tag with you.

SPACE & SAFETY RESTRICTIONS:

The venue has required that booth lines, overall attendance, and booth placements be actively managed due to the fire code. We are navigating this requirement and appreciate your compliance. Booths need to remain where placed.
